Goodbye “No Name” – Murphy, NC

This year, 2020, has been an emotional roller coaster for all. The pandemic has hit hard on families and small businesses.

As you may know, many different businesses have shut down during this year. Earlier this year in May, No Name Deli has closed it’s door after 36 years of serving our town with great food and ice cream. You may be thinking that it isn’t a big deal, but to others, that small restaurant was their childhood growing up or even their favorite lunch date with their loved one. It’s all become real that a long time restaurant is gone when just in the past few weeks it was demolished by the state DOT. Now it’s an official Goodbye to No Name Deli.
